Advisory Services

The Solar Trade Association serves as a focal point for organisations with business interests in the solar energy industry. In addition it provides information to enhance public, government & media understanding of the advantages derived from solar energy systems. Our main aim is to reduce the carbon emissions that contribute to climate change. We promote energy efficiency and renewable energy, as well as working to reduce fuel poverty. We're active in national and international debate too, but crucially - although climate change is a global challenge, our commitment is to Cornwall, and to making change locally. So Community Energy Plus gets involved; we're independent, but part of Cornwall's fabric and lifeblood.

REOC is a public, private and academic sector partnership whose twin aims are to stimulate and promote the Cornish Renewable Energy Industry to compete in the global renewables market, and to aid the harmonious development of Cornwall's own RE resources. The Energy Saving Trust is the UK's leading impartial organisation helping people to save energy and reduce carbon emissions.

Plugging into the SunŽ is an initiative of the Schools & Homes Energy Education Project, SHEEP, based in Sheffield. Piloting energy and light surveys in schools to increase the awareness of energy use, involving all sectors of the school community from pupils to governors. SHEEP has already helped several schools reduce energy costs.

CREATE is the leading organisation for co-ordinating and promoting energy education at all levels in the UK. Established in 1988 by the then Department of Energy, the Institute of Energy and industry, we are a focus of expertise for people who want to know about energy matters.
