Our KS2/3 "Sun Power" Teachers Resource pack will soon be available on-line.
Working in close liaison with local organisations the objective is to produce a teaching resource pack about solar energy. 
The completed pack will be published free of charge on-line, and will be freely available to all schools / educators.

The pages will employ a highly graphic style which make them both useful as resource material for teachers, 
or as a lively display to inform the students. 
Their aim is to provide both background information and suggest a range of classroom activities concerning the main applications of solar energy and also to provide a basic understanding of the principles involved.
The pack is, strictly speaking, both cross-curricular & multi-disciplinary, but it's curricular focus is on 

• Science, 
• Geography 
• Design & Technology
• Maths

It also successfully addresses some of issues of sustainability within the KS2/3 'Citizenship' teaching requirements.
